How Lauriston Press came to be! 🙏🏻💫
This space began as my working art studio nearly 20 years ago!!
Equipt with an etching press and a few benches, I spent time producing my lino-cuts and dry-point etchings out of this space in its early years in 2008. Around this time my interest in working with pianola rolls took hold….
Over time I invited other artist friends to sell their work and before long it developed organically into a print gallery. I named my business, ‘Lauriston Press’ after the small country town that I live in, situated between Kyneton & Daylesford.
Today, this gallery represents many local and regional artists. The ever evolving collection includes printmaking, ceramics, drawings (works on paper) paintings and jewellery.
Curated by myself and Jodie, the gallery showcases a high standard of artworks uniquely displayed among sculptures, antique furniture, and with an ever changing presentation of fresh native flowers & installations!
New artworks are always coming into the gallery, providing customers with new pieces to enjoy and inspire!
A creative, vibrant gallery space that I hope provides inspiration & a stunning collection of local and Melb based artists/ printmakers!
